If you are visiting Similipal in a rainy season you will get to see many varieties of mushrooms with different colors. Egg mushroom is one of them. The local people call it as
Tarman Uud. It grows on moist soil in an egg like shape. As it grows the outer coat stays on the soil and the mushroom raises up with a stem.

The fully grown mushroom can have a diameter of 14-15 inches . It grows
in two colors, white and yellowish orange. The mushroom is sticky on
it's surface. It is consumed by local people.
